Special events are weekend highlights — unique, one‑off activities and presentations designed to bring attendees together and add variety to the schedule. Welcome To… Opening Event
Date/Time: 24th April, Friday evening 9pm
Cost: Free!
Welcome To… is a board game where players design the most appealing 1950s neighbourhoods. Adding fences, arks, and swimming pools. The game supports 1-100 players
At DagdaCon we think this is the perfect way to kick of the event and will be playing a casual game of Welcome To.. on the Friday evening. It will be free to enter so no need to take it seriously, but if you do there is chance that you could not only design the best neighbourhood but also walk away with a copy of the game.
AthVentureCon presents Never Ending Gory
Date: 25th April - 9am - 5pm
Cost: Free!
Have a bit of free time and looking for a quick 5e fix? Are you a fan of blood drenched combat? Played out at ludicrous speed? With the added bonus of rewards for stabbing your buddy? Well then welcome to the Never Ending Gory table!
Never Ending Gory is a D&D 5e battle royale where every kill, on mobs and other Player Characters, gain you Kill Points!
No sign-up needed! Just take a seat, draw a random character, and get killing!
When you die, and you will die, your Kill Points will be totalled up and added to our leaderboard! At the end of the day, the top three streaks on the board will win a prize!
NEG is 1% survival, 99% fun!

Quiz in aid of Enable Ireland
Date/Time: 25th April, Saturday evening at 9:30pm
Cost: €20 per team
Join us for a fun and relaxed evening quiz, the perfect way to unwind after a busy day at the convention. Team up with friends or jump in with fellow attendees as you tackle a mix of general-knowledge and light-hearted trivia in a friendly, social atmosphere. All money raised is in aid of Enable Ireland.
Sunday Family Day
Date: 26th April - All Day
The final day of DagdaCon focuses on inclusive, all-ages programming. Expect roleplaying games suited to younger players, a board game library highlighting accessible and engaging titles, and events that encourage parents and kids to play together. It’s a relaxed, welcoming close to the weekend where newer gamers and seasoned attendees alike can share the experience.
